Production shots from the making of A Box Of Bubbles
Here are some production shots from the making of the forthcoming limited edition A Box Of Bubbles, which houses the new Barney Bubbles monograph and an exclusive folio set of highlights from the designer’ career.
At the top of the page is the front of the box, while the interior also features Barney Bubbles artworks (see above).
Among the special additions is a lovingly-realised replication of the build-your-own silver pyramid sheet originally provided with Bubbles’ packaging designs for the 1972 triple-LP Revelations: The Glastonbury Fayre.
And the handkerchief featuring Bubbles’ matchstick portrait of Ian Dury, originally issued as a promotional item for Dury & The Blockheads’ 1978 Hankie Pantie tour, is also included in A Box Of Bubbles, which is published in an edition of just 500.
