Barney Bubbles directed a number of music videos  in the late 70s and early 80s. Several have become classics, not least his promo for The Specials’ era-defining 1981 number one Ghost Town.

Bubbles also directed promos for US singer songwriter Roy Sundholm (1980), two for punk band Johnny Moped (both 1978) and two for singer Paul Carrack (1982).
